About Dr. Atoshe Islam
Dr. Atoshe Islam is an oral and dental surgeon. She completed her BDS at University Dental College & Hospital under the University of Dhaka, and is now a postgraduate trainee (PGT) in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at Dhaka Dental College & Hospital.
She sees patients at two chambers, in Mirpur 14 and Kafrul. She explains the problem before treating it, and makes short dental care videos in plain Bangla for Facebook and YouTube.

Common questions
How do I book a serial?
Call 01735-470488 and say which chamber and which day suits you, or send the online appointment form through WhatsApp. Your serial is confirmed once we reply.
When are the chambers open?
Saturday to Thursday. Mirpur Dental Care from 10 AM to 2 PM, HD Popular Dental Care (Kafrul) from 5 PM to 9 PM. Closed on Friday.
Do you treat children?
Yes: decay in milk teeth, fillings and extractions. Treatment is done slowly, with explanations, so the child is not frightened.
What are the fees and treatment costs?
At the chamber, the consultation fee is Tk 300 and a revisit is Tk 200. Treatment cost is given once the examination shows which treatment is needed. Call if you want to ask beforehand.
Can I consult online?
Yes, by video call on Hello Doctor. The link is in the online appointment section. You may still need to visit a chamber for treatment.
What should I bring?
Any earlier prescriptions, dental X-rays or reports. Tell us about any medicines you take regularly.
